He has even taken out credit cards and loans, sold his car and spent his life savings on perfecting this machine. He says he doesn't sleep with it which I don't believe him though he admits that she "has sensors in her body including her private parts, and yes even down there." More features of Aiko includes simple cleaning and household tasks, can understand and speak 13,000 different sentences in English and Japanese, so she’s already fairly intelligent.
