Sony Ericsson T230 was my first personal Sony Product. I've got this phone when I was in college as a DOST government scholar, and still it's working better as my secondary phone. It took me two months to saved just to buy this gadget. Voice recording feature for me is the best. But, probably this was the best basic phone (with MMS and EMAIL) ever. Has been working perfectly for almost 4 years now and still going STRONG!!!I actually bought two phones instead of a single one. The colored black (as you can see below) was for my fraternal twin brother, Oliver. He's scholarship ended at that time and since we don't have the power of mental telepathy (lol) that's why I had enough money and reasons to buy these two phones. Because these were our first mobile phones, imagine if he don't have one of these, I couldn't text or call him right away. Wireless communication is very important for us, how much more for our closed friends and for our beloved family! :-)
This phone is really great since it stands to an equilibrium with its price, and can be the best affordable gadget for a college student because of its recording function. I don't think there is anything wrong in this set. I found this as a good little phone, it does everything I need it for. I found it to be user friendly and in a matter of an hour I was used to handling it. It's lightweight and compact and I sometimes even forget that it's attached to my waist.
This particular gadget is a very strong, both physically and electronically. I am using this mobile since last 4 years without any major problem. Although I am a rough user this sustains all the hardships on it. It is a durable little phone mine has sustained numerous drops (accidental) it has fallen down the stairs once and survives jolting around in my pockets and bags on many occasions.
When you take it out the box you'll get the T230, charger, and documentations on how the phone works.
With all that out of the way The Sony Ericsson T230 is a good phone, extremely light and compact. I purchased mine for 100 bucks each before but I've seen it going for 50 at Konica, Iligan now.
